I was adopted as a baby and when I had my own children I became curious about my birth family. My birth mother had been successfully traced through a social worker who worked with adoptions, but I tried unsuccessfully for years to try and find out about my natural father and if I had more family. I had some vague information given to me by the adoptions officer and by my birth mother, but it was very hazy and some of it didn't make sense. I tried to investigate the avenues that led from the information I had but it didn't go anywhere and eventually I gave up. Luckily, Carol offered to try and find my natural father as she was studying genealogy and wanted a challenge.
Amazingly after only a few weeks Carol had the information, certificates and leads that gave me all the information I needed. I was so impressed with the thoroughness of her investigation; no stone was left unturned. I had birth dates, history in relating to the family and so much more fascinating information. It opened up a whole new world for me.
It was done in such a professional and discreet manner, always being aware of the sensitivity of the situation.
Happily I was able to contact my new family and we have met up and kept in touch. If it wasn't for Carol skill an endeavour I would be none the wiser of the family she discovered for me.

I contacted Carol for assistance with my family tree, especially my Irish relatives and how they came to be here in England and the lives that they carved out over here. The work was complex as many records have been lost but she managed to find out lots of information that filled in the blanks for me and my family.

Carol provides a fast and thorough service with the ability to explore a wide range of sources. During my own academic research I needed a deeper insight into a young victim of the Holocaust, with only a name and basic details it was proving to be a time consuming challenge. Carol was initially able to compile my findings including locations, dates and simple biographies and then enhance this information. This resulted in finer detail, a comprehensive family tree with associated documentation and some photographic images. Due to Carol’s academic background, she was able to present her findings in a concise and accessible format which was invaluable when incorporating into my own research. Carol was available for follow up questions or clarification and provides full transparency regarding sources, providing solid citations and material references. I can strongly recommend Carol as she provides a comprehensive, affordable and friendly service.
